What is XMPro?XMPro is a Business Process Management Suite that enables organisations to > Visualise > Digitise > Optimise strategic, tactical and operational processes in a single process management environment. It ensures that the right person does the right task at the right point in time with the right information to: > Improve the customer experience (increased revenue) > Reduce process related costs (reduced costs) > Ensure control, consistency and transparency (governance)
It also provides: > Better Control for IT in terms of information security, access and use > Better Experience for Users as it is not only consistent but easy to use (reduced change management) > Better Outcomes for Business as process owners can actively measure and improve process outcomes
How does it work?XMPro is a Business Process Management Suite that provides all the functionality to manage processes throughout their lifecycle. It enables process owners and analysts to define and configure processes in the XMDesigner, end users to use it for day to day activities in XMWorkspace and managers to find innovative ways to improve business performance through processes in XMInsight. XMPro sits above other business applications such as ERP and CRM systems and provides the "process glue" that sticks these together based on the requirements of the process. It provides the orchestration, based on desired process outcomes, for other systems improving the overall quality of information transfer between organisational silos and systems. Business Rules are central to the way XMPro manages processes and are defined and maintained through XMDesigner. XMPro's Dynamic Allocation Logic provides a unique way of routing unstructured processes that are typical of "knowledge-style" work where the process routing can not be determined or modelled into a workflow diagram.
Can it handle Case Management?XMPro's Case View provides a case-based perspective on any process or set of dynamic activities. This includes: > A decision/audit trail of all preceding structured and unstructured ativities for a transaction > In-line historical forms that open in the Case View to show the detail of previous steps > A Case File that contain a documents that were associated with the process at any given step > Dynamic Routing buttons to route the case based on the specific requirements of the user The documents in the Case File can be stored in a file based repository, document managements system or Microsoft SharePoint.
What is the XMWorkspace Continuum?A continuum is defined as anything that goes through a gradual transition from one condition, to a different condition, without any abrupt changes. XMWorkspace is a continuum for business users to move seamlessly from working in Microsoft SharePoint to mobile devices such as the iPhone through to web interfaces and Microsoft Outlook. The XMWorkspace Continuum also includes Windows Gadgets and iPad support. The user experience stays the same in each XMWorkspace eliminating abrupt changes that impact user adoption and acceptance.
Will it work with Microsoft SharePoint?XMWorkspace not only works inside Microsoft SharePoint (XMPoint), it allows business users to manage their process actions in their workspace of choice. One user can start a process in XMPoint and the next user can action the process in Microsoft Outlook with XMOutlook. XMWorkspace is available as: > XMPoint > XMWeb > XMMobile You can even build your own front end client with XMAPI. XMQForms builds the forms for your XMWorkspace as you define the fields in XMDesigner. No compiled code. Easy to maintain and update. XMPro supports Microsoft SharePoint 2007 and 2010
Will it work on my iPad, iPhone, Android or BlackBerry? The XMMobile Workspace supports a range of mobile computing devices and recognises the specific device to render your processes and tasks with the correct display.
Can it integrate to other systems?XMPro is designed to integrate information from other organisational systems and business applications such as ERP, CRM and financial or transactional systems. XMDesigner features a Web Services and Scripting editor that allows process designers to connect through a conventional database and COM integration approach as well as web services in a SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) approach. XMConnect is a set of standard integration components for: > Microsoft Dynamics AX > Microsoft Dynamics GP > Microsoft Dynamics CRM Other XMConnect integration framework components are available for a range of ERP and financial applications. Contact us to find out how your business application is supported with XMConnect. Does it support BPMN (Business Process Modelling Notation)? The XMDesigner has Microsoft Visio embedded (recommended) and supports all the standard Visio flow diagram stencils and it also has a BPMN 1.x stencil for process professionals that use this notation.
Does it work in the cloud?XMCloud puts your business processes in the cloud. This means that you don't have to invest in IT infrastructure, it is always on and accessible from anywhere. XMDesigner allows you to connect to your processes from your desktop and manage your business remotely.
Does it support other languages?XMPro Multi Language capability enables organisations to collaborate across geographical and language borders. These are the languages currently supported but you can map your own with the Language Editor in the XMDesigner if it is not in the list.
